Horizon Teachers is supporting a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Brent to recruit a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Reception-aged child who will be new to the school in September 2025.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for the full academic year.
The Role:
* Supporting a Reception child with SEN on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day
* Helping them to settle into their new school environment
* Collaborating with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support staff
* Contributing to learning plans, progress reports, and EHCP reviews
* Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in an EYFS or KS1 setting
* A calm, patient, and proactive approach
* An understanding of the importance of consistency and early intervention
* A genuine passion for helping young children thrive
* A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
