The role
You'll be hands-on from day one, preparing complete sets of accounts and providing compliance support across our portfolio. Typical work includes:
* Year-end accounts preparation (sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies)
* VAT returns and bookkeeping review
* Payroll processing and checks
* Personal tax compliance (Self Assessment)
* Direct client communication: meetings, queries, and advice
What you'll bring
* 10+ years' experience in a practice environment (essential)
* Preferably at least AAT and/or ATT qualified
* Confident across accounts production, VAT, payroll and personal tax
* Strong client-facing skills—clear, friendly, and proactive
* The ability to hit the ground running and prepare a full set of accounts on day one
