About the Role:
Our client, a well-established and busy accident repair centre, is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join their professional bodyshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in quality work, efficiency, and delivering excellent results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strip and refit vehicle panels, bumpers, lights, trims, and mechanical components
* Remove and replace (R&R) damaged parts accurately and efficiently
* Wheel alignment, geometry checks, and ADAS calibration (desirable)
* Diagnose and repair minor mechanical and electrical faults
* Liaise with parts departments and ensure correct components are fitted
* Work to manufacturer standards and insurance repair methods
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
* Complete job cards accurately and work to estimated times
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a MET Technician in a bodyshop or accident repair environment
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent (desirable)
* ATA-accredited or equivalent training (preferred)
* Strong knowledge of strip/fit procedures across a range of vehicle makes and models
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Full UK driving licence
