Parts Manager – Agricultural & Ground Care Machinery

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Parts Manager to step into a key leadership role with a respected machinery dealer. This position offers real autonomy, responsibility, and the chance to make a tangible impact on parts sales, operational efficiency, and team development.

You will lead the day-to-day running of the parts department, balancing commercial stock control with exceptional customer service, while managing and developing a small team.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate the daily workload of the parts department to maximise sales and efficiency
* Maintain effective stock control, ensuring appropriate stock levels, quality, and commercial value
* Lead, develop, and motivate a small parts team, including training and performance management
* Ensure all parts processes are followed and the department is well organised, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards
* Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to secure best pricing and maintain strong working relationships
* Process parts warranty claims and returns within required time frames to maximise credit recovery
* Monitor departmental performance against branch targets and contribute to overall business objectives
* Produce and analyse internal reports to support decision-making and operational improvements
* Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service, aiming to exceed customer expectations
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Experience in a parts department, ideally within agricultural, ground care, or construction machinery
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
* Confident user of standard computer applications and online systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekend
