Business Leader working with Engineers across the UK
LOCATION- Colchester
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £30,000 to £40,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is currently recruiting for a CAD Technician to join an established engineering company based in Colchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic design team working on a range of technical drawings and layouts.
The CAD Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
* A background in Engineering, Design, or Construction
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Good communication and team-working skills
* Experience working within a design office or technical environment
The CAD Technician role will involve:
* Producing and updating 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD
* Supporting the design and engineering team with layout drawings and documentation
* Ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and industry standards
* Liaising with engineers, project managers, and other departments
* Maintaining drawing registers and version control
