Project Coordinator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Project Coordinator/Assistant to join our dynamic team. The role primarily supports Project Managers in the coordination of various projects, or may independently manage small and straightforward projects requiring minimal client interaction. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, Client Services, and QA, to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction and service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support Project Managers by following up on assigned tasks and tracking project timelines.
* Assist with document posting and manage communication with clients through follow-up emails and calls.
* Become proficient with JD Edwards and/or Change Point software, performing simple entries and tracking as needed.
* Occasionally manage small, simple projects, including:
* Acting as the primary point of contact for the client and addressing their questions and concerns.
* Serving as the Client Advocate for work on the assigned site.
* Preparing and managing a Project Plan to meet project milestones.
* Leading internal and client meetings to facilitate project completion.
* Ensuring timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
* Providing milestone completion notifications for billing to finance.
* Support the training and mentoring of other Project Coordinators on the team.
* Promote continuous improvement in all project coordination activities.
Position Requirements:
* Education/Experience: A Science degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
* Knowledge/Skills: A working knowledge of the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries is desired. The candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with client communication.
* Additional Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and proficiency with project management tools and software.
