Domestic Assistant Benefits:

Main duties of the job
* The daily shift plan is completed in the agreed time scale and hygiene standards are met.
* Cleaning is carried out in accordance with recognised approved Trust methods/procedures.
* To participate in the Cleanliness in Hospitals Programme.
* To complete departmental performance monitoring weekly, to achieve and maintain the Trust standard.
* To ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with the Trust waste disposal policy, assuring Health and Safetystandards are adhered to.

Person Specification
* previous knowledge and experience of working in a previous role
* Ability to work shift times and patterns
* Ability to work without direct supervision.
* Knowledge of cleaning guidelines
* Flexible approach to duties.
* NHS experience
Training, Qualifications and Registration
* Knowledge of Coshh related products
* English and mathematics Level 1
* Basic IT skills
* Ability to cover work colleges
* NVQ level 2 in cleaning - training will be given
Knowledge and Skills
* Deal appropriately with Service Users, staff and the general public
* Written and verbal communication skills
