We are looking for a professional with extensive experience in the maintenance, repair, and installation of complex ventilation systems and building services. What You'll Do
* Diagnose, maintain, test, and repair complex ventilation systems, plant, control systems, and associated equipment.
* Assemble and install minor works across multiple trade disciplines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Investigate breakdowns and faults, identify root causes, and undertake remedial actions promptly.
* Liaise with external contractors and internal teams, ensuring safe working practices and adherence to policies.
* Utilise technical knowledge and skills to convey information, coordinate repairs, and work independently under pressure.
* Maintain accurate records of plant history, risk assessments, and technical documentation.
* Adhere to legislation, codes of practice, infection control, safeguarding policies, and promote a safe environment for staff and patients.
What You Bring
* NVQ Level 3 qualification required.
* Qualified to a minimum of HNC level or equivalent in a relevant building discipline.
* NHS or healthcare facilities experience.
* Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills.
* Ability to work independently, manage your workload and stay calm under pressure.
* Experience with Design and Build projects.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and COSHH.
* Trained and competent at safe isolations and verifications of NHS Healthcare Critical Ventilation Systems.
