We’re looking for a forward-thinking and relationship-driven Client Account Lead to champion strategic growth and deepen partnerships with our largest clients in the South East of England- Transport for London (TfL) and the East West Railway Company (Oxford- Cambridge Corridor). This is a truly exciting growth opportunity as we continue to deliver across markets. The Client Account Lead will be at the forefront of shaping existing key client relationships, driving strategic growth, and delivering exceptional outcomes across the future portfolio of infrastructure planning and delivery for these flagship clients. You will take a client-centric, insight-driven approach—deeply understanding client needs and aligning them with Jacobs’ full breadth of capabilities, including regular engagement with contractors to ensure a co-ordinated whole life-cycle offer. Whilst both clients have a strong rail and infrastructure focus, you’ll work across our teams covering all sectors and our global network to deliver innovative, value-driven solutions that support our purpose of creating a more connected, sustainable world. In this role, you’ll also embed and champion client account initiatives, systems, and best practices across the programme to ensure consistent, high-quality client experiences. This role can be based across any of our Jacobs UK offices, however there is a regular requirement to be client facing in London, Milton Keynes, Oxford & Cambridge as part of the role. Roles And Responsibilities (Not Limited To) Client Relationship Leadership Act as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact within Jacobs for Transport for London, and the East West Railway Company Lead the development and implementation of a Client Account Growth Plan, co-created with the client, that aligns with Jacobs’ "Challenge Accepted" Strategy, European Roadmap, and global market priorities Strategic Growth & Commercial Excellence Identify and pursue high-value opportunities across the client’s portfolio, overseeing Tier 1–4 pursuits and ensuring clear ownership of each Lead the capture of major new business and renewal of existing agreements, working closely with Capture Managers and Project Managers to deliver value Internal Collaboration & Leadership Build strong internal networks across Jacobs’ regional and global rail and transportation teams, Market Solutions, Operations, and MarComms to deliver integrated solutions Coordinate executive engagement and zippering strategies, ensuring Jacobs’ senior leaders are aligned and visible to the client Innovation & Industry Impact Actively promote Jacobs’ thought leadership, ESG commitments, and digital innovation agenda within the client organisation and across the aviation sector Partner with clients to co-create solutions that address their toughest challenges, leveraging Jacobs’ global expertise and market-leading capabilities Quality & Delivery Assurance Work with our client delivery directors to provide senior oversight of project execution plans, ensuring technical excellence, safe delivery, and a consistent client experience Identify and mitigate risks, champion ethical practices, and uphold Jacobs’ values in every client interaction Here's what you'll need Proven experience in client account leadership or strategic business development, with a passion for transportation projects, especially in the rail / passenger transport or major programmes sectors Recognised industry presence with established relationships across these clients, or in the sector with key stakeholders, such as Network Rail or the Department for Transport Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to shape strategy, influence stakeholders, and drive profitable growth Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor others, and foster a collaborative, agile, and high-performance culture Experience with client management frameworks, governance processes, and digital tools such as CRM or CSP platforms Joining Jacobs not only connects you locally but globally.
