🏡 About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you’ll work closely with the Registered Manager to lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated team. You’ll help prepare the home for OFSTED registration, ensure high standards of care, and play a key role in shaping a nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise staff, fostering a collaborative and child-centred culture
* Ensure compliance with OFSTED and safeguarding standards
* Support the well-being and development of young residents
* Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement
* Manage staffing, training, and operational efficiency
* Represent the service in the community and build strong partnerships
👤 What We’re Looking For
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards)
* Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification
* Experience in a senior role within a children’s home or supported accommodation
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* A trauma-informed, person-centred approach to care
* Commitment to safeguarding and empowering young people
* Right to work in the UK, Candidates requiring sponsorship will be considered for this role
