What You’ll Do: Assemble and fit mechanical components, systems, and sub-assemblies from technical drawings Perform precise alignment, adjustments, and fine-tuning of assemblies Collaborate with engineers and technicians to solve mechanical challenges Check parts and assemblies for accuracy and quality compliance Safely use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment Assist with installation, commissioning, and on-site maintenance of machinery Keep your workspace organised, efficient, and safe What We’re Looking For: Experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Assembly Technician in manufacturing or automation Strong understanding of mechanical principles and assembly techniques Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship Problem-solving mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a team NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, or automated systems (advantageous) The starting rate is £17.50 per hour, raising to £18 once up to speed and able to meet the clients requirements.
