The Role
We have a brand-new opportunity for a passionate and dynamic Plant and Safety Trainer/Assessor to join our team.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Car/Allowance
Location: Harefield
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver plant training and assessments across the country, predominantly the Home Counties.
* Perform training, assessment, and certification of plant operators under the NPORS scheme.
* Contribute to the creation of competency assessments and teaching resources.
* Develop and maintain documentation for enrolment, learner progression, and feedback.
* Ensure training meets DfE and ESFA requirements.
* Adapt teaching methods to individual learners' needs and provide support as necessary.
* Maintain quality assurance processes and participate in audits.
* Implement policies related to Education, Equal Opportunities, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Child Protection, and GDPR.
* Support social value initiatives and industry representation.
* Perform additional duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
* NPORS Accredited Trainer with expertise in 360, 180, Forward Tipping Dumper, Slinger, Excavation Marshal, Lifting Ops.
* Extensive experience in plant operations.
* Assessor Qualification: TAQA or equivalent - V1 or IQA.
* CPCS Plant Trainer/Tester Qualified. Utility experience.
* Familiarity with construction card schemes including CPCS, NPORS, CITB, and Lantra.
* Excellent communication skills, proficiency in Office 365 and digital tools, and a full UK Driving license.
* Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent) is desirable.
