About the Role

Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality consultant-level radiology services across NHS Lanarkshire
* Participate in general radiology and contribute subspecialty expertise where applicable
* Provide on-call radiology services as part of the consultant rota
* Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
* Support multidisciplinary clinical teams and provide expert diagnostic input
* Participate in teaching, supervision, and training of junior doctors and trainees
* Engage in audit, research, and clinical governance activities
* Contribute to leadership, innovation, and strategic development of imaging services
Requirements
* Full registration or eligibility for registration with the UK General Medical Council (GMC)
* Completion of specialist training in radiology with consultant-level experience
* Eligibility for the UK Skilled Worker visa and Certificate of Sponsorship
* Experience in general radiology; subspecialty interests are highly desirable
* Strong commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care
* Willingness to participate in on-call services and service development activities
* Ability to contribute to teaching, audit, and quality improvement work
