The position will be based across two key sites, Norwich and Cambridge, offering an exciting and diverse work environment. Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed and competitive electrical estimates for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
* Analyse project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to develop accurate pricing.
* Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project requirements.
* Identify material, labor, and equipment needs for each project, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
* Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and build strong relationships.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in electrical estimating within the construction or engineering sector.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation practices.
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Location: The successful candidate will work between two sites, Norwich and Cambridge, with flexibility for travel as required.
Package:
* Salary circa £55,000, dependent on experience.
