We are looking for a Mental Health Team Leader who has experience working with individuals with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) & Eating Disorder. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for line managing Support Workers within the team, providing advice, support and training, along with undertaking regular 1-1's and appraisals. You will also provide all round support at our clients home ensuring they get the support they need for this bespoke package of care. Successful applicant will: Provide leadership and support for care staff to include on-site coaching and mentoring to staff. Lead staff in writing, implementing, and reviewing support plans which reflect the interests and wishes of the individual. Identify staff training needs and plan to meet these in conjunction with the Line Manager. Rota management/ annual leave. Required to participate in local on-call arrangements where service needs dictate. ​ Ensure management policies and protocols and ensure adhered to practice guidance, as they are updated and respond to national and local guidance. Provide day to day support for a client in their home environment. Support client in all aspects of day-to-day life (cleaning, meaningful activities, mental health support). Encourage and promote independence. Monitor the client's mental health and physical health and report concerns to senior team members. Always promote dignity. Support with medication compliance. Support the RMN with crisis support for the client (where appropriate). What do we need from you? Female staff members only At least 2 years’ experience within mental health settings. Desired for staff members to have experience working with complex trauma, high risk patients (self-harm) and experience of supporting a complex dual diagnosis namely, eating disorder and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Vast experience of supporting clients in the following areas: in a supported accommodation/home environment type setting that present with complex mental health and physical health needs. ​An understanding of the MHA and legal frameworks. Experience of working with Multi agencies. Experience of working with clients with complex trauma, physical health. Willing to undertake company training specific for this client. The ability to document to high standards. Be resilient and pro active Have the ability to empower the service user. Kind, caring and compassionate.
