Teaching Assistant – Resource Base
Location: Tidworth
Start Date: After October Half Term – until Christmas (potential to extend)
Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour
Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only
Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive infant school based in Tidworth, who are currently seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their Resource Base team.
This role will involve supporting EYFS and Key Stage 1 pupils with additional learning needs, providing both academic and emotional support to help them reach their full potential. You will work closely with experienced staff and specialist teachers to deliver tailored learning and maintain a nurturing, safe environment.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils within the Resource Base and mainstream classroom.
* Assisting with learning activities and adapting materials where needed.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting independence.
* Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience supporting young children, ideally within EYFS or KS1.
* Be patient, caring, and proactive in their approach.
* Be passionate about helping children with additional needs.
* Be available to start after half term and commit until Christmas (with potential to continue).
Before starting, you will have an informal interview with the Head Teacher, and due to the upcoming start date, the vetting and recruitment process will be fast-tracked, so early applications are encouraged.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
