* HMP Long Lartin Salary: £35,143 - £41,341 (dependent on experience) Hours: 39 hours per week (includes weekends on a rota) Location: HMP Long Lartin We’re looking for a Facilities Team Leader to join our team at HMP Long Lartin, helping to keep the prison safe, clean, and running smoothly.
This is a great opportunity for someone with facilities or maintenance experience who enjoys leading a team and making a real difference in a unique working environment.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading and supporting a team delivering maintenance and facilities services
* Making sure repairs and maintenance are completed safely and on time
* Maintaining high standards across the site
* Working closely with prison staff to plan and prioritise work
* Promoting a strong health & safety culture
* Checking timesheets and supporting day-to-day operations
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in facilities, estates, or maintenance environments
* Previous experience supervising or leading a team
* Good understanding of health & safety
* IT skills (basic systems and reporting)
* Ability to organise work and meet deadlines
* Desirable (not essential): IOSH qualification, Facilities Management qualification, Experience using CAFM systems
