Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Engineer required to join a leading engineering supplier.
Responsibilities
* Develop new business opportunities across the UK for motion control and automation solutions.
* Promote products including motors, servo drives, actuators, gearboxes, motion systems, and associated instrumentation.
* Target OEM manufacturers across sectors such as automation, packaging machinery, medical, aerospace, automotive, and defence.
* Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities to expand product usage.
* Manage one direct report within the sales team, providing leadership, guidance, and support for their development.
* Work remotely with regular customer visits across the UK, as well as working out the Horsham office twice a week.
Requirements
* Experience as a Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager, or Key Account Manager within an engineering or automation environment.
* Experience selling motion control products such as motors, drives, actuators, gearboxes, servo systems, or related automation equipment.
* Experience working with OEM customers within industries such as automation, aerospace, automotive, medical devices, packaging, or defence sectors.
* Engineering qualification such as HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering would be advantageous.
* Experience in managing a small engineering team and providing leadership to drive team success.
* Willingness to work remotely with regular customer visits across the UK, as well as working out the Horsham office twice a week.
