We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Project Management Office (PMO).

Role Purpose:

Digital Business Automation is a global platform within the Chief Technology Office, with approximately 300 staff across multiple geographic locations. We are responsible for defining and implementing the technology strategy for several critical services, ensuring their availability, recoverability, and security.

As a PMO analyst, you will support the Portfolio Lead and Project Managers in managing the Platform’s Book of Work. Your responsibilities will include maintaining project governance, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

* Facilitate and coordinate portfolio-level governance aligned with the HSBC Change Framework (HCF).
* Maintain compliance across documentation, reporting, and approvals.
* Monitor delivery progress, including resources, velocity, costs, and financial governance.
* Produce accurate portfolio and project reports using Clarity and JIRA.
* Support cost modeling and forecasting with GDPM (Global Delivery Project Management) tools.
* Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and escalate risks/issues promptly.
* Drive consistency in reporting, dashboards, and communication across the portfolio.

Minimum Requirements:

* Proven experience in PMO, Junior Project Management, or Business Analysis roles with exposure to governance and financial tracking.
* Hands-on experience with compliance and governance using change frameworks.
* Strong understanding of project methodologies such as Prince, Agile, PMP.
* Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Experience with Clarity PPM and JIRA for reporting and tracking.

Desirable Skills:

* Experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) and/or Workload Automation tools.
* Previous exposure to Digital Business Automation platforms.

This role is based in Sheffield or Birmingham with a hybrid working model.
