We are currently working in partnership with a leading Housing Association based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Head of Property & Compliance Services on a temporary six-month contract.
The position is due to start immediately; however, the client is open to hearing from candidates with a longer notice period.
The day rate for the role is up to £400 per day via an Umbrella company. To achieve this rate, you need to have demonstrable experience leading a Public Sector Property Management department.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing policies/procedures around M&E. Alongside exposure to M&E, the successful candidate must have delivered a cost-efficient but effective Repairs & Maintenance Service.
Responsibilities include:
1. Leading the Repairs, Planned, and Compliance functions within a Housing Association
2. Supporting the incumbent Compliance Manager, particularly with M&E policies
3. Playing an active role in the overall improvement of the property services function
4. Attending contractor meetings and ensuring excellent value for money
5. Adopting a profit/loss approach, understanding how to streamline services while maintaining high standards
Experience required:
* Experience in Social Housing
* Experience working with housing customers
* Experience liaising with stakeholders and senior management
* Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures related to M&E
Working hours:
* 37.5 hours per week
* Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
