An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated Support Services team within the Catering Department. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Catering Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality catering services.

Key Details:
Location: Various
Hours: Bank
Shift Pattern: Predominantly Monday to Friday, between 7 am 7 pm

Role Overview:
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services. Responsibilities include:
Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment through deep cleaning tasks
Assisting with deliveries and stock management
Supporting food preparation and service in line with food safety standards

Essential Requirements:
Previous experience in a large-scale catering environment
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
A neat and professional appearance, combined with a positive and approachable attitude

Please note as this a part time post salary is pro rata

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. Please note that the pay scale in this advert will not be changing as a result
