Scope and Responsibilities:
You will be required to support the Commercial Manager in leading a team of Processing Co-ordinators. Your role will be to lead the team in onboarding a Client's mis-sold car finance claim from initial Client engagement right up to issuing complaints to lenders, and dealing with final decisions, including FOS processes.
Manage Processing workflow priorities and the focus will be to ensure your team deliver critical processes in a timely manner, whilst supporting the Commercial Manager in driving ongoing efficiencies and continuous improvements through coaching and development interventions, resulting in excellent standards of output from the team. Accuracy, numeracy, professional attitude and attention to detail are paramount.
You will be responsible for a team who are both lender facing and customer facing so administrative and telephone skills are key.
Provide critical feedback to the business on industry changes through monitoring workflow changes.
Key responsibilities:
To manage and develop a high performing team of Processing Co-ordinators and Trainee Paralegals specialising in high volume financial mis-selling matters including administration and telephone support.
With accountability for Client on boarding, Client ID/AML verification and delivery of the Claims Services process up to the submission of Claims issued to the lender, FOS and potentially into Court.
Assist in managing third party relationships and support the Commercial Manager in continual improvements of processes from the submission of claims through to final decision of the claim.
To ensure the team work efficiently utilising the Case Management System, working to targets.
Must fully understand the regulatory environment in which the team operates including relevant compliance policies, applying them operationally and ensuring the team adhere to these standards at all times by completing regular audit processes.
Quality management of all processes and staff under your remit.
To ensure excellent Client care, which is the priority in all cases through continuous auditing, coaching and knowledge sharing interventions.
Performance management of the team, through a target driven approach, being able to manage your work flow to ensure all targets and deadlines are met.
Identifying methods to enhance and develop the processes and systems - driving ongoing improvements and efficiencies.
Responsible for HR related matters, pertaining to your direct reports.
To ensure that you and your team comply with the procedures of the business as set out in any core materials, manuals and training materials.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel/ Word and Power Point and in undertaking administrative activity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to quickly and effectively solve problems and queries and pay attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills to prioritise and manage a high volume workload.
Experience of leading a team and supervising work is essential, whilst demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
