Hourly Rate: £29.00 Paye or £38.97 Umbrella inside IR35

Overview
As part of the Infrastructure Category Team, you'll take ownership of end-to-end procurement for major Manufacturing Equipment projects across our Samlesbury and Warton sites
Skills
* A strong background in procurement or supply chain, ideally with experience in manufacturing equipment or construction categories
* Solid understanding of contract law and commercial terms, with strong negotiation skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels
* The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word
* Ideally, 5+ years of procurement experience, and CIPS accreditation
The Job
* Leading procurement activity for capital equipment and manufacturing infrastructure
* Developing and executing strategic procurement and contracting plans
* Preparing RFPs and pre-qualification documents, and leading competitive tenders
* Collaborating with internal SMEs and stakeholders to assess bids and select suppliers
* Drafting and negotiating robust, commercially sound contracts
* Delivering cost savings and value through effective supplier management
* Visiting supplier sites and evaluating capabilities where required
* Continuously seeking process improvements and innovation
