Electronics Engineer – Aston Martin F1 Team
At the heart of our aerodynamic development lies one of the most advanced wind tunnel facilities in motorsport. We’re seeking a talented Electronics Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of the electronic and control systems that power our aerodynamic testing capability. This is a hands‑on technical role, applying your expertise in embedded systems, firmware, and LabVIEW software to enable precise model control, real‑time data acquisition, and reliable performance.

Key Responsibilities
* Development, maintenance, and support of new and existing electronic/electrical assemblies.
* Develop and enhance firmware for electronic assemblies.
* Development of LabVIEW software for test & calibration rigs, wind tunnel model and subsystems, ensuring efficient data acquisition and processing.
* Assist with development of harnesses/wiring looms.
* Assist with data analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve faults.
* Support the production of electronic assemblies, including ordering BOM components and commissioning new modules.
* Document design processes, modifications, and testing procedures to maintain clear and accurate records.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate electronic systems with mechanical components and software, support development of new sensors/sensing techniques.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Experience of analogue and digital electronic design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and processes involved with unit development/production.
* Experience of developing microcontroller systems for sensor data acquisition and processing.
* Experience in developing and debugging unit firmware.
* Experience using LabVIEW and NI hardware for developing control and monitoring systems.
* Knowledge of sensor design & signal conditioning interface designs.
* Knowledge of harness/loom design and assembly practices.
* Proficiency in the use of word‑processing, spreadsheet and drawing software packages.
