Overview
We’re hiring a Junior Maintenance Engineer with an F-Gas (Cat I or II) qualification to carry out basic servicing and PPM/reactive maintenance in commercial buildings and plant rooms across London and surrounding areas. Great step for a hands-on, multi-skilled engineer looking to grow in HVAC/mechanical building services.
What you’ll be doing as a Junior Maintenance Engineer

Clean, service and replace filters on AC units/AHUs, extract & supply fans.
*
Basic maintenance tasks within commercial settings and plant rooms etc.
*
Basic plumbing (e.g., traps, isolations, minor leaks) and mechanical PPMs.
*
Routine checks on pumps, motors, belts, minor fabric fixes.
*
First-line fault finding; escalate when needed.
*
Work safely in plant rooms and commercial sites; complete job sheets & reports.
*
Liaise with helpdesk/clients and support senior engineers on larger tasks.
What you’ll bring
*
F-Gas certification
*
Some experience in commercial maintenance (FM, offices, retail, light industrial).
*
Confidence with filter changes, coil cleans, belts, and basic plumbing tasks.
*
Good communication, punctuality and a tidy, safe approach to work.
*
Full UK driving licence (mobile role).
*
The attitude of a team player

Basic building services familiarity
*
Domestic gas ACS certificates
