Adoptions Engineer Role Purpose: Support the company, ensuring the timely and cost-efficient adoption of completed roads, sewers and public open spaces for Residential and Commercial Projects. Duties and Responsibilities: · Work with the Technical Design Manager to develop technical agreements. · Engage and work with Construction and Commercial teams and Project Managers to ensure timely completion of works and assist with procurement. · Manage technical project bonds and keep updated adoptions tracker. · Attend sites during infrastructure works/activities and identify/record issues, monitor quality and provide feedback or raise concerns with the build team and/or contractors including production of scope of works for any remedial works required · Ensure all relevant information is obtained, such as CCTV Surveys, As-Built Surveys, air tests, street lighting test certificates etc. are provided by the relevant supply chain and submitted for approval to the adoption authority or approval body. Provide oversight and manage consultants in the completion of Road Safety Audits. · Manage infrastructure agreement processes (e.g. S278, S38, S104, S185) including liaising with solicitors to facilitate timely completion. · Investigate barriers to adoption of historic sites and explore and pursue solutions with adopting authorities. · Cultivate and maintain good, professiona...
