Were hiring experienced Systems Engineers to deliver complex, safety-critical solutions across naval defence, advanced weapon systems, and aerospace platforms. Roles are available on both a contract and permanent basis, offering hybrid and flexible working options.
What Youll Be Doing
* Develop and manage system-level requirements, architectures, and interface definitions for high-integrity platforms
* Lead or support V&V planning, traceability, and compliance activities throughout the lifecycle
* Work across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated, mission-ready solutions
* Collaborate with MOD, OEMs, and defence primes on technology development and delivery
* Ensure delivery aligns with relevant standards (e.g. DEF STAN, DO-178C, ISO 15288)
What Were Looking For
* Proven experience in systems engineering within the defence sector (naval, air, weapons, or equivalent)
* Background in complex systems, including electronics, embedded software, or mechatronics
* Strong understanding of the systems lifecycle (ISO 15288, ARP4754A, INCOSE MBSE)
* Knowledge of DOORS, Enterprise Architect, or similar requirements tools. Any experience such as Matlab or Simulink would be of benefit.
* Must be eligible for SC clearance (UK national or resident for 5+ years)
Contract & Perm Options
* Contract: Outside IR35 | Competitive day rates | Mid to Long-term projects
* Permanent: Competitive salary + bonus + pension + development opportunities
