FCRMS Asset Management Business Systems Team Senior Advisor - 32232

Asset Management Business Systems Team supports all EA teams and suppliers in their use of carbon tools and ensures they become a core asset management system operating with other AMBST‑supported tools for the infrastructure programme and asset management.
Responsibilities
* Supporting EA and external users of operational carbon tools.
* Managing and delivering a range of services to users of carbon tools.
* Agreeing and maintaining services with a range of different user groups.
* Being a senior product user for digital improvement projects of our carbon tools and data.
* Planning and managing user activities in the implementation of carbon tool changes and improvements.
* Managing the resources and funding for carbon tools support and maintenance.
* Working with operational carbon communities and national leads as required.
* Co‑ordinating with IT suppliers, FCRM, Operations teams, Defra’s Digital, Data and Technology Services (DDTS), Local Authorities, Water Companies, Internal Drainage Boards, and the civil engineering supply chain.
Experience / Skills Required
* Significant experience and knowledge in carbon management in infrastructure assets, projects or programmes.
* Experience in asset management and/or infrastructure business processes.
* Experience in digital tool development or user implementation services.
* Experience in development of training and documentation.
* Knowledge and skills in stakeholder engagement and effective communications.
* Ability to identify, analyse, evaluate, and implement improved ways of working.
* Ability to take decisions and solve complex business problems.
* A strong focus on efficiency, innovation, and quality.
* Strong focus on customers and partners and ability to build and sustain relationships.
* Ability to manage yourself and work on your own initiative.
Additional Information
The role is predominantly office‑based, but travel will be required occasionally. Any location for your office base is acceptable. The team welcomes training and incident response participation. Fully funded opportunities to develop further academic/professional qualifications are available. Interviews will be scheduled from week commencing 1st December 2025.
