The shift pattern for this position is Mon-Fri, 8.30-16.30.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team within Burns, Plastic Surgery, Renal & CIC Managed under Regional Services Directorate. This post is based between Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The Service Support Manager reporting to and working closely with the General Manager and Clinical Services Managers in providing direct operational and strategic management to the clinical services across NHS GGC and the West ofScotland.
Key Tasks Include
* Performance/Waiting list managementand associated reporting
* Ensure systems, processes, training and flexibility within the administration teams supports compliance with local and national performance targets
* Attending and participating in management meetings.
* Responsible for the overall management of the administration and clerical staff within the sub directorate, with direct management responsibility for the Waiting List Manager and Administration Managers & Personal Assistants.
* Management of admin budget, contributing to directorate & NHSGGC S&V targets
* The post holder is an authorised signatory for small cash/financial payments and includes signing off travel expenses, overtime, bank hours within allocated financial governance limits.
* Data Management
* Development and updating local SOP’s and departmental polices
* Manage information, generation, collation and analysis of data to deliver and improve the services.
* Managing clinic & theatre capacity to ensure that clinical priorities and waiting time targets are met through effective use of available resources
* Project Management
* Develop and present proposals for administrative services changes and process redesign in line with imminent changes in clinical practice and the development of new technology, e.g., implementation of digital
* Dictation.
A valid driving licence is essential for travelling between sites.
