About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design Engineer to join an expanding team within the New Product Development department. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the development of cutting-edge products.
As part of a highly skilled engineering team, you will have the autonomy to innovate, whilst being supported when needed.
What You’ll Do:
Research and develop new product ideas and methods.
Improve existing products and processes.
Create new designs and amend existing ones using Solidworks in a PDM environment.
Create 2D drawings, BOMs, and ECRs while maintaining accurate engineering documentation.
Assist in managing projects through their full design life cycle.
Use Solidworks simulations (FEA) and produce relevant reports.
Produce product renders and animations for marketing purposes.
Ensure compliance with safety standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Solidworks experience is essential
Strong interest in industrial product design.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet demanding deadlines.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Desirable Experience:
Knowledge of pump systems, pipework, and fluid technology.
Background in R&D or New Product Development (NPD).
Experience with Solidworks PDM (Product Data Management).
