Overview
Due to main carer retiring soon there is an opportunity to support a kind, partially sighted lady living in Poulton le Fylde.
Duties
* Personal care including dressing, showering and support with toileting. A ceiling hoist is available and full training will be given.
* Daily living support to include shopping, meal preparation, occasional cleaning and support with managing medication.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Patient, understanding and reliable.
* Happy to be around 2 friendly pugs and physically able to push a manual wheelchair.
* Driver aged 25 or over, with a cleaning licence is essential and a car with insurance is available for the purpose of taking out to appointments plus accompanying to social and community activities.
Details
There are 2 × positions available. Hours will be mornings and lunchtime plus alternate weekends.
Rate of pay will be £12.21 p.p.h plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
