Principal Power Systems Electrical Engineer

What you’ll be doing:
1. Conduct load flow, short circuit, and stability analysis of electrical power systems.
2. Manage and analyze electrical load budgets.
3. Develop and validate electrical models.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and stakeholders on power system matters.
5. Prepare technical reports, calculations, and presentations to communicate results and recommendations.
6. Develop and mentor team members.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical engineering.
* Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
* Knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions.
* Experience with electrical load budget and load flow analysis.
* Proficiency in power system analysis software tools (e.g., ETAP, Simulink/Simscape, MATLAB).
* Stakeholder management experience.

The Electrical Verification Team:
Involvement in verification and validation of power systems, analysis, and calculations to support electrical platform design and maturity. Relocation support is available for eligible roles.
