The Board of NHS Highland is seeking two new Non-Executive Members to join its Board:
1. One Member with audit and risk experience
2. One General Member
NHS Highland is a complex organization delivering a wide range of primary, community-based, and acute hospital services. Its goal is to improve the health and wellbeing of the local population and provide excellent healthcare services. The organization has an annual expenditure of over £1 billion and employs more than 10,500 staff across locations from Caithness to Campbeltown.
Having a diverse Board enhances decision-making and fosters a vibrant, creative environment that adapts to the evolving demands of the health and care system and the needs of the communities served. We welcome applications from a broad spectrum of individuals who meet the criteria outlined in the person specification and can bring diverse perspectives to our work.
While each role requires specific experience, all appointees are expected to contribute fully to the Board's work, including participation in governance committees and the Highland Health & Social Care Partnership’s Integration Joint Board.
Training will be provided to support your effective contribution.
