Immediate start available! We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team at our client's busy distribution centre in Emerald Park, Folly Brook Road, BS16 7FE. This role involves working in a fast-paced, chilled warehouse environmen t, supporting the day-to-day handling of goods. Please note that this is a physically demanding role, including manual handling and lifting of up to 25kg. Opportunity to earn £459 per week during the first 12 weeks, increasing to £555 per week thereafter (based on a 34-hour working week). This is an ongoing role with the opportunity to progress from temporary to permanent. Please note: all candidates are required to pass a Drug & Alcohol test. Also, due to the shift requirements, this role would not be suitable for students. Pay rates: - First 12 weeks: £13.50 per hour (weekdays), £17.41 per hour (weekends) - After 12 weeks: £16.33 per hour (weekdays), £20.41 per hour (weekends) Performance bonus available Weekend bonus of 20% on top of the standard rate This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, 5 out of 7. - Chill shift: 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm (Please note that finish times may vary depending on daily volumes.) Your Time at Work As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include: - Picking produce and selecting stock - Working in a chilled environment with temperatures ranging from 0 °C to 5 °C - Stacking items into cages - Delivering items and cages to the loaders - Using manual handling equipment in a busy environment - Working to targets set out for you by your supervisor Heavy lifting of up to 25kg is involved in this role.
