I am currently working with an engineering company in Basildon who require an experienced Paint Sprayer for their nightshift. The role: In this varied role you will be responsible for carrying out spray painting to a wide selection of parts to a very high-quality finish. The work will include: Spraying surfaces metal and plastic surfaces with protective or decorative material, such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer, using a spray gun Cleaning grease and dirt from product, using materials such as lacquer thinner, turpentine, soap, and water Applying masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated Filling cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface Selecting and mixing coating liquid to produce desired colour Pouring coating liquid into spray container and connecting gun to air-hose, using wrenches Coating areas inaccessible to hand sprayer, using brush Cleaning spraying equipment and brushes with solvent Heating and spraying wax onto products after they are tested The Paint Sprayer – Nights we are looking for will have: Experience in a similar spray painting manufacturing role Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and reliability The ability to work proactively and effectively as part of a team The ability to work well and accurately in a time-constrained and pressured environment Good written and verbal communication skills The company are offering: Permanent nightshift Monday to Friday 10:00pm – 6:00pm An excellent opportunity for progression within a large company Varied workload Plenty of overtime available If you are interested in this Paint Sprayer – Nights role and believe you have the experience my client requires then please forward your CV
