* Following restructure in the wider group, this role has been giver a wide remit across the NA trading companies working closely with the central finance team
* This role will be responsible for production of reconciled TB and “flash” management accounts for multiple entities to allow group consolidation to be completed
Key Responsibilities
Following decision to implement a new ERP system a role has opened up for a dedicated System Accountant to support the implementation and act as principal system administrator.
* Joint responsibility for the implementation of financial systems and processes
* Lead in configuration and data imports
* Oversee the development and completion (by wider team) of any/all UAT
* Collaborating with key senior stakeholders across finance and IT
* Ongoing oversight as principle system administrator responsible for architecture of system and data quality
* Key role as part of wider solution architecture team responsible for all tools used across the company
* Identify and/or support improvement of processes within the accounting team
* Ongoing development and training of the users to ensure best practice is maintained
* 1st Line system support for Live Business unit
Essential
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
* Experience delivering project support for a system implementation
* Experience of
* Ability to use Excel to an advanced level
* Advanced communication skills to communicate effectively with multiple levels of stakeholder
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
* Demonstrate proficiency in system documentation and financial process optimisation
* Building and maintaining professional relationships in a global organisation
Desirable
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualified accountant.
* Previously worked with large data sets
* Knowledge of Power BI or similar
* Graduate
* Recurring revenue recognition in a software business
* Previous experience of international group of companies
