The Role of Area Sales Manager
This is a field based Area Sales Manager role covering the South East and M4 corridor, focused on developing sales through electrical wholesalers at branch level.
You will inherit a well-established customer base and be responsible for driving growth through existing accounts, increasing product range, and strengthening in-branch presence.
* Manage and develop relationships with electrical wholesalers across your territory
* Work closely with branch managers and counter staff to drive product awareness and sales
* Increase product breadth within existing accounts and maximise shelf space and in-store footprint
* Deliver product training and support to branch teams to improve engagement and sales
* Identify and capitalise on growth opportunities within your account base
* Ensure strong visibility and positioning of products within branches
* Support promotional activity and trade days within electrical wholesalers
* Build long-term partnerships with key accounts to drive repeat business and loyalty

The Candidate
* Strong sales experience in construction / electrical or a keen interest in breaking into the industry
* Exceptional branch based sales candidates will be considered
* Strong relationship building and communication skills
* Self-motivated, organised and commercially aware
* Full UK driving licence
The successful Area Sales Manager will be energetic, proactive and confident engaging with branch staff and decision makers.
The Package on offer for the Area Sales Manager
* Up to £50,000 basic salary
* 20% OTE
* Electric / Hybrid company car
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
