What You’ll Be Doing
* Work as part of the Childcare Team to provide an amazing service for children and families.
* Maintain a safe, secure and clean environment, ensuring safeguarding policies are followed.
* Act as a role model for children and demonstrate best practice to colleagues.
* Welcome parents and carers warmly and hand over concise summaries at day’s end.
* Complete Nursery In A Box for key children, meeting EYFS targets and providing detailed accounts.
* Keep your room and nursery presented well, organised resources and engaging displays.
* Attend in‑house and external training, which may occur outside working hours (e.g., weekends).
* Assist in planning and delivering a variety of indoor and outdoor activities to maintain children’s interests and support development in line with their needs.
* Attend staff events such as parents’ evenings, staff meetings and summer fairs, some of which may be out of hours.
* Drive is essential – you must hold a valid driver’s licence and be able to use the nursery’s vehicle.
Requirements
• Qualified Early Years Educator.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Completion of a “Keeping Children Safe” Form, DBS check and at least two satisfactory employment references. Some roles may require a five‑year employment history.
