Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, solutions-driven Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance throughout the entire business practices and supply chain. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including quality planning, assurance, and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management Systems:
* Manage internal and supplier audits in line with ISO 9001:2015 standard.
* Serve as the primary contact for QMS to maintain and improve systems and processes.
Global Quality Oversight:
* Provide quality oversight for the organization’s operations through regular visits and audits.
* Lead non-conformance and incident investigations, including root cause analysis.
* Work with Business Unit managers to ensure continued compliance with quality-related certifications, including ISO 9001:2015.
* Implement quality improvement initiatives and training programs.
* Manage the vendor assurance program.
* Support Commercial teams with quality information requests in tender responses.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:
Technical/Professional Skills:
* Degree or equivalent in engineering or a technical discipline [Desirable].
* Certified Lead Auditor (e.g., LRQA) [Desirable].
* Understanding of the global oil and gas industry [Desirable].
* Knowledge of hazardous area standards BS EN 80079-34 [Desirable].
Essential Skills:
* Strong understanding of compliance and quality management standards.
* Experience in quality assurance and improvement methodologies.
* SOLUTION-DRIVEN with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Certified Internal Auditor with experience in non-conformance and incident investigations.
* Experience championing a quality culture within a business.
* Experience working with key suppliers in manufacturing or engineering environments to ensure quality standards.
* Experience in highly regulated industries.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, with a can-do attitude.
* Proficiency in data analysis and creating reports using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
