About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Administration Trainee to join a growing accountancy practice team in Seaton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or progress a career in administration, with scope for development into a secretarial role. Previous experience is not essential my client values a willingness to learn and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
* Handling incoming and outgoing post (primarily electronic)
* Answering and directing telephone calls
* Scanning and filing documents
* Maintaining and updating company databases
* Assisting with basic accounts tasks (approx. 30% of role)
* Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties
Training & Progression
* 70% of the role will focus on administration tasks, 30% on accounts support
* Potential to progress into a secretarial position
* Opportunity to work towards an administration qualification (fully supported by the company)
Skills & Qualities
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Good attention to detail
* Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Positive and reliable work ethic
