Spire Claremont Hospital has an opportunity for a Radiographer to join our Imagining team. You will be part of a team that prides itself on providing exemplary service to our Patients, Visitors and Colleagues at all times.
Spire Claremont Hospital has provided first-class independent healthcare at the heart of the South Yorkshire community since 1953. Our hospital is situated among beautifully landscaped grounds in Crosspool, Sheffield and it is situated 3 miles (about 20 minutes) to the southwest of Sheffield city centre.
Claremont Hospital has 42 beds, three laminar flow theatres with a fourth minor ops theatre, 13 consulting rooms, JAG accredited Endoscopy suite, a static MRI and CT scanner, and plain and digital X-ray. The hospital provides surgery and outpatients with diagnostic imaging services.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Provide general imaging for patients within the radiographic department
2. Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
3. Develops a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security
4. Keeping accurate records and updating records when needed
5. Ensuring a high standard of patient care is maintained throughout
Who we're looking for:
6. You will hold a Diploma or Degree in Radiography and be registered with the HCPC.
7. MRI/CT/General x rays/Fluoroscopy/Theatre experience.
8. cannulation competent.
9. You will need to possess strong communication skills and have a good standard of IT.
10. Previous experience within private healthcare is desirable but not essential.
11. Have good communication skills.
12. Mammography with mammography accreditation certificate desirable.
