Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment.

This role will be based in our Head Office, Eurocentral, Motherwell on a full time, permanent basis. Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm.

Duties

* Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
* Answer phone calls on our switch board promptly, providing information and directing calls as necessary.
* Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using Microsoft Office, Teams, Sharepoint.
* Assist with adhoc clerical duties such as filing, scanning and maintaining records passes.
* Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members as required.
* Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail.
* Time to time support other administrative functions as needed to ensure smooth office operations.

Qualifications

* Previous office experience is essential; switchboard experience is highly desirable.
* Proficient computer skills
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
* Excellent phone etiquette with strong communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Attention to detail in all aspects of work, particularly in data entry tasks.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and assisting team members.
* Experience of Construction / Civil Engineering office functions is highly desirable.
