Caretaker
Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: £13 - 17 per hour (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time
A welcoming and supportive school in Middlesbrough is seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to maintain the school premises and ensure a safe environment for staff and students.
The successful Caretaker will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the site, carrying out maintenance tasks and ensuring facilities are secure and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities of the Caretaker:
* Opening and closing the school site.
* Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs.
* Ensuring health and safety regulations are met.
* Monitoring site security and cleanliness.
* Supporting the smooth running of the premises.
* Maintaining a safe and well-presented environment.
The Ideal Caretaker Will:
* Have previous maintenance or caretaker experience.
* Be reliable, proactive and organised.
* Have good practical and problem-solving skills.
* Be able to work independently.
* Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
* Have a fully checkable work history.
