Teaching Assistant - SEND Interventions - Chesterfield
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with SEND and learning difficulties? Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to deliver targeted intervention support across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in primary schools throughout Chesterfield.
About the Role:
We are seeking Teaching Assistants who are available at least 3 days a week and have previous experience supporting pupils with SEND, particularly those with learning difficulties such as autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or moderate learning difficulties (MLD).
Your role will involve:
Providing one-to-one or small group interventions tailored to pupils' specific needs
Supporting pupils in achieving their individual targets within a nurturing and structured environment
Liaising with class teachers and SENCOs to adapt resources and strategies
Monitoring progress and supporting pupils' emotional well-being
What We're Looking For:
Recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
A strong understanding of SEND and experience delivering interventions
A flexible, positive, and proactive approach to supporting children
Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week during school hours
