We're looking for an Environmental Manager to join Kier Design supporting our A417 Missing Link project team based in Gloucester.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?
* Leading all environmental management and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to DCO and EMP commitments
* Working collaboratively with designers and construction teams to minimise environmental impacts
* Overseeing the implementation of the project's One Planet Action Plan and promoting sustainable solutions
* Obtaining necessary environmental permits, licences and consents in a timely manner
* Providing guidance, support and training on environmental issues to the wider project team
Qualifications
You have a degree in environmental science/sustainability (or equivalent) and are Chartered or a Practitioner member of ISEP working towards Chartership.
* You bring demonstrable experience leading environmental management on large construction projects
* You have excellent knowledge of UK environmental legislation and a good understanding of various environmental issues
* You're a confident communicator who can translate technical information clearly to different audiences
* You enjoy working collaboratively with stakeholders while being comfortable taking initiative
