Join Our Team at Wolfdale School – A Unique Opportunity to Make a Difference
Wolfdale School is an independent specialist school with multiple sites across Leicestershire. We provide tailored education for young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), particularly those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Our students range from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4.

About the Role
This position involves the development and delivery of a bespoke, purposeful curriculum tailored to meet national standards while addressing individual needs across Key Stages. You’ll play a key role in ensuring student progress is effectively tracked through both mainstream and alternative learning methods.
We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with a genuine passion for working with young people with special educational needs. If you’re an ECT, we’d love to hear about the experience you’ve gained working with SEN learners during your training.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
1. Has experience across Key Stages 1 to 4, or is ready to embrace that challenge.
2. Can develop and deliver a meaningful, creative curriculum tailored to individual learners.
3. Is committed to promoting curiosity, engagement, and a love for learning.
4. Has a strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, and SEMH, and uses innovative, flexible approaches to meet students’ unique needs.
5. Values community and is eager to build links with both local and wider networks.
6. Demonstrates resilience, compassion, and a commitment to the values of Wolfdale School.
7. Can build and sustain professional, trusting relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.

11. Contract details: Full-time, 42 weeks per year
12. Working hours: 8:30am–4:30pm Wednesdays, 8:30am–4:00pm on other weekdays
13. Starting salary from £32,000 (depending on experience)
