The Role
As the Management Accountant, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely financial information and supporting the overall financial control of the business. You'll work closely with both Finance and Operational teams, providing insight, analysis and ensuring financial processes run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production and support of monthly management accounts
2. Preparation of accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
3. Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining accurate ledgers
4. Processing supplier invoices, payments, and expenses
5. Overseeing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
6. Managing CIS submissions, subcontractor verification and associated reporting
7. Supporting cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
