Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner at Coton Day Nursery
Location: Coton, Cambridgeshire (Whitwell Way, within Coton CoE Primary School grounds).
Hourly Rate: £15.01 per hour | Hours: Up to 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (8:00am – 6:00pm)
Coton Day Nursery is a small, warm, and homely setting located in the beautiful village of Coton, Cambridgeshire. We provide a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
We welcome candidates looking to progress into a Room Leader role, with opportunities for development subject to experience and discussion during the interview.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide stimulating, purposeful experiences, environments and resources that support children’s age and stage of development.
* Understand and ensure compliance with statutory requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery and promote these standards in daily practice.
* Support the smooth running of the nursery while ensuring the safety, wellbeing and happiness of children, staff and families.
* Maintain professional relationships at all times and report any complaints or concerns to management in line with company policies and procedures.
* Undertake additional duties as required to support the nursery team and operational needs.
Requirements and Skills
* Full Level 3 Childcare Qualification - essential
* Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
* Over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years - desirable
* Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
