Why This Role Exists
We’re looking for a Head of Campaign Strategy to lead our cross-channel strategy output and oversee a growing team across the agency.
You’ll bring energy, originality, and best-practice to the work. You’ll shape the team that brings our clients’ brands to life across every screen, every channel, and every campaign.
This isn’t a traditional Head of Marketing role. It’s built for the modern day where brand, content, email, SEO and social need to work together. You’ll have oversight of campaign performance across these channels and manage the Heads of each department to ensure everything ladders up to business results.
Note: This role does not oversee paid media or creative delivery, but works holistically alongside those teams to ensure campaigns are joined-up and high-performing.
What You'll Own
* Leadership of campaign direction across integrated brand, content, email, SEO and influencer accounts; guiding the brief through to execution and being responsible for the results
* Oversight of our trend and insight function; ensuring the team uses data, software and research to elevate campaigns
* Leadership of campaign planning; supporting their strategic development of ideas and ensuring work is unified across the agency
* Development and delivery of high-impact client presentations; covering campaign strategy, creative ideas, and performance opportunities
* Ownership of client strategy relationships; setting direction, pitching ideas, leading workshops, and identifying growth
What You'll Do
* Write compelling creative and campaign briefs rooted in brand strategy, consumer insight, and platform thinking
* Lead and contribute to ideation for campaigns, social-first creative and performance storytelling
* Work with teams to identify insights and opportunities to improve client campaigns and content
* Champion the voice of the client; pushing for work that resonates and drives results
* Act as senior strategic counsel across integrated campaigns to both internal teams and external clients
* Lead brainstorms, research sessions, workshops and campaign kick-offs
* Inspire the agency to deliver work that’s punchy, purposeful and proud
* Work closely with Project Managers/ Account Managers to ensure timely delivery of all strategic workstreams
* Continuously evaluate campaign results and iterate to improve strategy and performance
* Pitch growth opportunities and upsell relevant services across current clients
You Should Be
* A senior strategist with 7+ years experience across digital marketing, ideally in a fast-paced agency environment
* A confident people manager, capable of mentoring department heads and scaling teams
* A fluent generalist; you understand SEO, email, content, and social, and how they connect to deliver impact
* A natural storyteller; whether in a deck, a creative idea, or a client presentation
* Commercially minded; able to cost up projects, build scopes of work, upsell services, and deliver profitable client activity
* Collaborative and decisive; you take in information and make clear, confident calls
* Comfortable with data; able to interpret metrics and translate them into next steps
* Obsessed with consumer behaviour, culture, and platforms
* Comfortable juggling big-picture strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution
* Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Google Ads
* Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMRush
* Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Dotdigital or similar
* Google Slides, Keynote, Figma
* Notion, Slack, Asana
