We're seeking a Management Information Consultant to play a pivotal role in generating high quality reports and insights that drive strategic decisions at every level of our organisation.
You'll play a key role in the production of regular MI reports and to support, develop and expand the reporting for SJP as the needs of the business evolve,
What you'll be doing:
1. Develop and produce regular management information reports, adapting to evolving business needs.
2. Review existing reports for relevance and efficiency, using new software for smart working practices.
3. Act as the gatekeeper for data integrity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
4. Provide operational support and guidance to directors and senior management.
5. Maintain a deep understanding of SJP's data sources and architecture to ensure consistent and accurate reporting.
6. Undertake project work and ad hoc requests, managing time effectively to meet departmental responsibilities.
Who we're looking for:
7. Proficiency in Business Information (BI) software and systems, including Excel, Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services and Snowflake
8. Strong SQL skills and experience in data modelling with PowerQuery, DAX, and M.
9. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI administration.
10. Ability to communicate data effectively for impact, crafting reports and dashboards for various devices.
11. Understanding of ethics and legal considerations in data and analytics.
12. Knowledge of other BI software such as Tableau or Business Objects is a plus.
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and data interpretation.
14. Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal partners, including senior management.
